Showcase Charities

The list of charities supported by showcase over the years goes on and on! After paying for the hire of the theatre and production expenses, the proceeds from ticket sales, programme sales and advertising go to the main charity of the year. Since 1995, raffle proceeds, which are enhanced by Barclays Bank, make a further donation to a second charity.

For 2008, the main charity is the Genesis Breast Cancer charity, and the raffle charity is Wish Upon A Star.
