Member Societies
Showcase wouldn't be Showcase without the people who work both
on and off stage putting each year's show together. Almost everyone
involved in Showcase puts in their time and energy free of charge,
and the results can be seen for themselves every year!
Showcase is currently made up of 7 member societies:
All Saints Musical Productions

Mossley AODS
Mossley AODS have their own permanent home at the Woodend Mill,
Mossley. This comprises 3 rehearsal spaces, a custom workshop, offices
and kitchen facilities. Major shows are performed at the George
Lawton Hall, also in Mossley. As well as a successful 'adult' society,
Woodend Mill is also home to their highly acclaimed Next Generation
Youth Theatre.
Mossley's next show is A Chorus Line, which runs at the George
Lawton Hall from 21st to 26th April 2008 (tickets: 014578 34696).
Mossley are also staging Blood Brothers (the play) in September
2008, West Side Story (subject to license) in December, and the
world premier of 'Withchfinder' in April 2009. Rehearsal nights
vary, but are normally Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday morning. See

Prestwich Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society
(PADOS)
PADOS meet every week in PADOS House, St Mary’s Road, Prestwich
– currently rehearsing our next Musical – ‘Annie’
– which will be on stage at Middleton Civic Theatre, Middleton,

Romiley Operatic Society
Romiley Operatic society has been a member of the Showcase family
for many years, and is proud to be part of the Showcase tradition.
We are based in Stockport, and perform our main production in March
each year, currently at the Stockport Plaza. We always welcome new
members! ROS recently celebrated it's 75th anniversary.
Next main production is "The Pirates
Of Penzance (Broadway Version)" in April 2009 (a little
later than normal this year) at The Romiley Forum.
Rehearsals – Mondays at St. Paul's Church, Compstall (see
a map);
also Tuesdays as needed for principals/dancers and Sundays nearer
the show.
